Clarifies visit analytics and optional Google Analytics

Part B — Privacy Policy

1. What we collect: name, phone, email, delivery addresses; order history, requests, quotes, payments (no card numbers — those go directly to licensed payment providers); and messages you send us. Our own visit analytics records the pages you visit, broad source of your visit (such as a referring website or campaign label), and fixed actions such as using the Price Bar, opening or submitting a request, viewing a quote or checkout, and tapping a phone or WhatsApp link. It records that a link was tapped, not whether you made a call or sent a message. Analytics does not store your name, raw IP address, full referring URL, page query strings, form entries, pasted product links, or payment details. A temporary visit key joins actions during one Cairo day and changes the next day.

2. Why: to operate your orders (contract), to meet legal/tax obligations, and — with your consent — to send offers. We use visit analytics to understand where visitors come from, find pages or request steps that need improvement, and measure whether requests are completed. Order-status messages (email from [email protected], WhatsApp, SMS) are part of the service.

3. Sharing: within the Yeldn group for fulfilment (our internal operations platform), with payment providers to process payments, with delivery personnel (name, phone, address only), and with authorities where the law requires (e.g., customs documentation). If you allow optional analytics, we also send sanitized page and action events to Google Analytics. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention: order and payment records are kept as long as required for legal, tax, and dispute purposes; accounts can be closed on request, after which data not legally required is deleted. Our visit-event records are deleted after 90 days. The Google Analytics property is configured to retain event-level and user-level data for two months.

5. Your rights: access, correction, and deletion requests to [email protected].

6. Cookies and analytics: essential cookies support sessions and language. Our first-party visit analytics runs whether or not you allow Google Analytics. If you select Allow analytics, Google Analytics may use analytics cookies to measure sanitized pages and actions. If you continue without Google Analytics, its script is not loaded. Your choice is saved in your browser. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation, and advertising user data remain disabled.
