Buying from Nike US when you live in Egypt

Nike is the single most requested shop we handle, and the reason is simple: Nike Egypt carries a fraction of what nike.com carries, the sizes at either end run out first, and the colourway you actually want is usually the one nobody imported.

What a pair costs, landed

A $120 pair of running shoes lands at about EGP 17,540 — roughly 2.9× the dollar price, from our calculator on 7 September 2026. That is mid-table: better than anything bulky, not as good as electronics.

The reason it is not better is the box. A shoebox is a large object holding two light things, and space is charged as though it were weight — the full explanation. Low trainers do better than boots for exactly that reason.

Getting the size right matters more than the price

A pair that does not fit has cost you the whole landed price, and returning it to America is not practical from here.

Use Nike's own conversion chart, on the product page, not a generic table.

If you own a pair of Nikes that fit, use that number. It is the most reliable information you have.

Nike sizing is not consistent across silhouettes. Air Force 1s, Dunks and running shoes do not all fit the same at the same nominal size — the reviews on each page are usually right about which run small.

Say the exact variant. "Size 10, black" — not "the black ones". One Nike page holds thirty combinations and the default is not your choice.

If it is a limited release, it sells out in minutes and the only stock left is on resale platforms at a premium set by scarcity.
