How to pay, from Egypt

Card, Instapay or mobile wallet, in two payments, with nothing collected at your door. What each one means and when the money actually moves.

Paying an international seller from Egypt is usually the most awkward part of buying from abroad — cards declined, currency you do not hold, a second charge you did not expect. None of that applies here, because you are paying an Egyptian company in Egyptian pounds.

Here is exactly how it works.

Two payments, and no third one

20% when you accept the quote. This is the deposit. Nothing is bought until it is confirmed, and until then you can cancel for a full refund.

The remaining 80% when it has arrived in Egypt, before it comes to your door.

Nothing at your door. That is the whole point of a fixed final price: customs is already inside the number, and XOONX carries both the cost and the risk. If customs costs us more than we expected, that is our loss, not a bill for you.

The ways to pay

Card. You finish on the payment provider's own secure page — we never see your card number. It confirms in seconds, which means your order is confirmed and your price is locked immediately. This is the fastest route by a wide margin.

Instapay. Send to the address or number shown on your order page, then add a screenshot of the confirmation. A person checks it against the account and confirms, usually within hours.

Mobile wallet. Same as Instapay: send to the number shown, then add the confirmation screen.

Cash. For the balance only, at hand-over. A deposit has to be money we can see before we buy something abroad on your behalf, so cash is not available for that half. When we deliver, cash is fine and the person handing it over records it.

Account credit, if you have any from a previous cancelled order.

The one thing worth understanding

A transfer is not confirmed until a person has matched it to the account.

When you tell us you have sent an Instapay transfer, your order shows *under review*. It becomes money — and your order is confirmed and your price locked — when somebody here has checked it. That usually takes hours, not days.

This is deliberate. Buying something abroad against a transfer that has not actually landed is how a business loses money it cannot recover, so we do not do it. The practical consequence for you: if you want the fastest possible confirmation, pay the deposit by card. If you are happy to wait a few hours, a transfer is exactly as good.

Adding the receipt screenshot is what makes the difference between hours and days. It is the single most useful thing you can do to speed your own order up.

What locks the price

Your quote is valid for seven days. Your order is confirmed, and the price fixed, when the deposit is confirmed — not when you accept, and not when you say a transfer has been sent.

After that the number does not move. If the American price rises, if the exchange rate moves, if customs costs more than we expected — all of that is ours. You pay what the quote said.

If something is wrong with a payment

If we cannot match a transfer, you will hear why rather than nothing: a message saying what we were looking for and what we found. If a card payment fails, nothing is charged and you can try another way.

If an order is cancelled before we buy, everything you have paid comes back within five business days, with no deduction of payment fees — or as account credit if you prefer. That is set out in if something goes wrong.

In short

1. Accept the quote and choose where it goes.

2. Pay 20% — card for instant confirmation, transfer if you prefer.

3. We buy it. You get a message at every step.

4. Pay the balance when it reaches Egypt.

5. It arrives. Nothing more to pay.

Send us a link and a person will come back with one fixed price, usually within hours.
